Back!

Well, 2 weeks spent in, I've traveled through France and everywhere in the UK but Scotland. Traveled around Scotland in years before though. Had some great fun and now I'm back!

I may have mentioned this in my last post, but I'm taking a break from Operation Clearout and doing my own little summer project. A film that'll probably end up being about 3 minutes long.

That's all for now, it's late and I want to get to be because I'm tired and I have a band practice tomorrow. See ya!

ALIVE

Just to let all my readers know, I'm not dead. I was at a camp for the past week so I wasn't able to update. I'm also leaving for Holiday tomorrow at 5:00am (Monday 12 July) and it's a 2 week holiday. I won't be able to update there. 3 days after that I have another camp and during summer I have a few extra visits so holidays houes etc. so it's a very busy summer, but I'll try to update as much as possible. What's most likely going to happen is the 3 free weeks that I have, Operation Clearout is going to be on hold, and I'll be working on a 3-minute comedy project like I always used to. I will finish Operation Clearout but it's just delays and things in summer mean it's too big a project to carry on at this time, so you'll be seeing part 3 after summer, most likely.

This is just a quick post, so no links or info about Operation Clearout for now. Sorry guys, but it's time to peace out for 2 weeks. See you later!

World Cup!

Hello, all!

Yes, I know you may think "This blog isn't about other things" but come on, one off? I'll put some stuff about operation Clearout in as well. Is that ok?

Anyway, I've been watching this world cup match (England vs Germany) and I'm so disappointed. England really had a chance and they're losing badly. Some of goals from Germany were due to terrible defense. I think that they seemed to be stuck to one area and they weren't moving. They did well just before half time and about 10 minutes after, but they couldn't maintain a strong defense and attack throughout the whole game, which was why Germany were able to score 4 goals. The match isn't over as I write this, so it may be outdated.

Lampard's shot was so in, and I can't believe the referee didn't allow it! I know we probably wouldn't have won anyway but one more goal would have been good! Anyway, for UK sports competition we still have Andy Murray in Wimbledon! Let's go there now! :P

Okay, Operation Clearout news. The reason there have hardly been any blogs this week is because everything has run smoothly. My main problem has been the sound design. I'm filling my hard drive up with all these gun noises and it's so hard to edit! there's so much sound that this is the first time I realised that my Sony Vegas has a limit on audio tracks. What a Pity.

Animation has been improving and I'm learning a lot through the project. I've got some simple effects going and it doesn't remove any entertainment, so I think that's a sign that the editing is okay! All the people I know who have been discussing Operation Clearout make me really happy. There aren't an empire of fans, but the people who like it like it a lot! All the support makes me confident and motivated.

If you're reading the blog then let me know it by following! All support for the project is much appreciated!

Confessions of an Animator

Okay, honestly, I think that I'm really not that good at blogging. My blog posts probably bore you to death and I ramble a lot. I haven't really blogged in a while. I think I only seem to be blogging after I've animated, which is kind of bad, because then I just say one thing then extend the post with loads of things to make it worthy of being a blog post. So now I'll make a blog post that will from now HAVE NOTHING to do with animation.

The progress has been going a bit rough. Most of it looks good, but some voice actors are overdue on lines and it's hard to animate without them. I'll be moving on to more scenes and it could be that the situation gets worse. I'm editing right now, and I really have been thinking about it. There's lots of work going in here, really. We got a new soundtrack piece recently, which was great. It feels really god making your own music and then adding it to your film. It makes me feel all independent. Of course, there is a lot of work on other people's parts.

Thanks to all of you who are reading this blog and being enthusiastic about operation Clearout!

Fairly Good Progress

I really don't want to mess this up, so I haven't rushed any animation much. I animated a little last night and have been doing so throughout the week, however, it's Saturday and I've been busy all day, I'm tired and I've caught a slight sickness recently, so I haven't felt up to animation as much as before, but I'm sure I'll be back on track on Monday, or at least that week.

In other news, my school break for summer is only about 1 week and a half. This means lots of time for me to work on this. Excited? Come on, what more do you want from me? Now go do something productive! :P

Also, I'd like to clear this for no real reason. The reason I keep Twitter and a blog is because I can give more detail in a blog with a longer post. Twitter's still great fun though.

And if you missed this week's video in my channel, it's nothing to worry about, because it was only a little impact Tutorial thing. It's all explained in Bricks in Motion, which is linked to in the description in the video. So I've given you a path, which you won't need. All you need is this link:

More Animation!

I'm very very nearly done with the script. I may not even do any more. Anyway, I've just animated and now I'm editing. This means that the first scene is done, and i can move on to more scenes. Scene 1 isn't the most exciting, in my opinion. Let's just see what you think on release!

For those of you wondering what I'll be doing this Saturday, it'll most likely be a tutorial, because I'm working my ass off on this and I don't want to distract myself with other projects. Besides, learning is fun, right?

Getting in Progress

Cameron and I got about 10 seconds of animation last night. We've also been working on a behind the scenes video we'll release sometime (haven't exactly thought about it) . Scriptwriting has about 20% to go and then we can get all of our voice acting crew. Once we have all that done we can animate like crazy (Probably about 3 nights a week) and get lots done. I edit as I make the film so as soon as I'm done animating it'll only need about 1 day's editing then I can release for all the followers of Operation Clearout!

This blog is going to cover a lot that happens between now and the finishing date. Hope you keep reading!

Animation!

So the co-director, Cameron, is coming round tomorrow and we'll be animating. We haven't begun animation of it yet because
A) I'm not done with the script
B) I've been working on another short project that is now finished
Stay tuned to this blog for images, videos, stuff like that. Don't forget to tell as many people as you can!

Scripting

The process of animation hasn't officially begun yet. So far I've been doing a lot of scripting and getting lines from my voice actors. I'm working really hard to get this right so I'm taking time with the script to make sure that it's understandable and pulls you in.

However, it may turn out that reading this script if more fun than seeing it put to action, so I have to try extremely hard to make this good. Because of all these precautions that I'll be taking, part 3 won't be out for at least 2 months. My co-director (Cameron)
Will be helping me with this one a lot more. He's done a little bit on the first two but since summer is coming and we're getting a lot more time, we'll be able to cooperate more and we'll be able to work better.

Basically this post has been written to hype you up for part 3. We're going to try to unleash a blockbuster (ba-doom-tish) here, but if it doesn't succeed, there's always part 4!

Start of Blog

This blog has come a little late saying that I've already released Operation Clearout Parts 1 and 2, but in the production of part 3 I decided that I would make a blog to give you information about the production.
